Richard Misrach Golden Gate folio now available
In 1997, Richard Misrach began a three-year project to photograph the Golden Gate Bridge at all times of day and night, from a single vantage point on the porch of his Berkeley home. The photographs that came to make up Golden Gate, published in 2005 and recently reissued, present remarkable variations of light and color that attest to the photographer’s commitment to diligent observation.
Aperture is now pleased to release a limited-edition folio from Richard Misrach, which contains “10.21.00 6:49 PM (SMOKE),” a signed, limited edition 16×20 inch pigment ink print from the Golden Gate series, in a deluxe clothbound case that celebrates the seventy-fifth anniversary of this iconic American structure.
It is now available in the Aperture store.
