Opening Reception: Jason Evans

Join Jason Evans for the opening reception of Monkey Face: Pictures for looking at, drawing for photography, for which the photographer has created seventeen unique images available through Aperture’s limited-edition print program. In this series, Evans has applied brightly colored stickers to his own photographs in randomly and intuitively generated patterns. The results are a workout for the eyes and the mind, a visual exercise that can be understood by everyone who encounters them.
