During the last years of Khyentse Rinpoche's life, Ricard traveled with him through India, Bhutan, Tibet, and Nepal, in the process creating a remarkable portrait of a great spiritual leader of our time. These Type-R prints are mounted on hand-molded Tibetan paper with an archival backing board. They bear colophon labels stamped with the seal of the Shechen Monasteries and are accompanied by the limited-edition book Journey to Enlightenment.
Matthieu Ricard is a Buddhist monk, photographer, and author. He has lived and worked in the Himalayan region for forty years. He donates all proceeds from his work and much of his time to humanitarian projects in Asia.
