| Located in the heart of Chelsea, Aperture Foundation’s beautiful gallery & bookstore presents exhibitions dedicated to contemporary and classic photography. Our 3,000 square foot gallery & bookstore provide a unique backdrop to any special event. The gallery & bookstore accommodates up to 500 people for receptions and 130 people for lectures. In addition, our Board room, with an antique chandelier and floor-to-ceiling Aperture library, is a perfect setting for meetings, luncheons, and intimate dinners for up to 30 guests. In the past we have hosted events for Film Aid, the New Yorker, Sony Incorporation, Slideluck Potshow, Raymond Weil and the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees among others. Your rental fee, which is partly tax-deductible, helps Aperture Foundation maintain the quality of our publications, exhibitions, and public programs that promote photography and advance dialogue about the medium worldwide.
