Jonas Bendiksen wins National Geographic Grant!

Aperture artist and Magnum photographer Jonas Bendiksen wins $50,000 National Geographic Magazine Grant for Photography!

Aperture is please to have published both Satellites and his new upcoming monograph The Places We Live, a project Bendiksen worked on from 2005 to 2007 documenting life in the slums of four different cities: Nairobi, Kenya; Mumbai, India; Caracas, Venezuela; and Jakarta, Indonesia.
