David Hilliard Opens at Yancey Richardson Gallery

Known for his vivid color photographs, David Hilliard’s triptychs or larger compositions, present complex narratives and explore various themes and situations like the awkwardness of adolescence and masculinity disarmed.

His first book, David Hilliard: Photographs was published by Aperture in 2006.

On Saturday, December 16 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. David will be signing his newest book Rosemary’s Dock at the Yancey Richardson Gallery. This book features an interview by Vince Aletti.
