Design Marathon and book signing with Martin Parr at The Wolfsonian.
Saturday, December 6, 12:00 p.m.
The Wolfsonian is giving thirty-five artists and designers a stage and five minutes each to express whatever they like. The event honors Dutch designer Wim Crouwel and celebrates our right to freedom of expression. Debbie Millman of Design Matters moderates the marathon, which features Wim Crouwel, Martin Parr, Elliott Earls, Chip Kidd, Richard Tuttle, Lawrence Weiner, and other contributors to Thoughts on Democracy. The marathon includes booksignings in The Dynamo Museum Shop by participant authors including Martin Parr. Limited-edition prints of the Dec. 5 Art Basel Open House and Thoughts on Democracy limited-edition portfolios by Parr will also be available for purchase
