Nature as Artifice on view at Aperture Gallery
Many thanks to all who made Aperture’s opening reception for Nature as Artifice a great success! The Dutch Ambassador Eric Niehe, Project Manager of NY400 and Ambassador of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs was in attendance and gave a very insightful speech on the occasion of the 400th anniversary of the Dutch arrival in Manhattan. Curator Maartje van den Heuvel introduced the exhibition with artists Jannes Linders, Hans van der Meer, Bas Princen, Frank van der Salm and Edwin Zwakman, who were also present, see pictures from the event below.
