Sunday, September 30

12:00 a.m. EDT

MoMA PS1, 22-25 Jackson Ave. at the intersection of 46th Ave., Long Island City, NY

Visit Aperture at booth R16 at the seventh annual NY Art Book Fair presented by Printed Matter. The NY Art Book Fair is the world’s premier event for artists’ books, catalogs, monographs, periodicals, and zines presented by more than 250 international presses, booksellers, antiquarians, artists, and independent publishers from over twenty countries. Over 15,000 artists, book buyers, collectors, dealers, curators, independent publishers, and other enthusiasts attended the NY Art Book Fair in 2011.

On Saturday, September 29, join Aperture for Why Don’t Artbooks Rate Review? The panel, moderated by Lesley A. Martin, will explore the dearth of public commentary on photo- and art books. At 6:00 pm in the PS1 lobby, there will be signings of Building: Louis I. Kahn at Roosevelt Island with photographer Barney Kulok, and The Factory of Dreams with photographer Stefan Ruiz.
