Description
Allan Macintyre (b. Sea Level, NC, 1968) rigorously investigates geological activity, traveling to volcanic landscapes all over the world. His black-and-white photographs are arrestingly beautiful. Allan received an MFA from the Massachusetts College of Art. His photographs have been exhibited at the University of Texas, El Paso, and the Carpenter Center, Harvard University. He has been a lecturer of photography at Princeton University since 2003. He currently lives in New York City with his wife and daughter. |
