Sally Mann’s Upon Reflection opened last week at the Edwynn Houk Gallery in New York, and tonight an exhibition of the thirty-five portraits from her series At Twelve opens at La Fábrica Gallery in Madrid.

Produced between 1983 and 1985 and published in 1988 by Aperture, At Twelve is a haunting series of portraits of adolescent girls that captures the tension of the passage into womanhood.

At Twelve will run until November 17.
