This landmark auction featuring the works of more than sixty photographers in the evolution of Aperture’s legacy will take place during the Aperture Foundation Sixtieth Anniversary Gala Dinner on Tuesday, October 23, 2012, at Gotham Hall in New York City.

Also on the evening of October 23, 2012, we are featuring a $100 raffle to win the last available print of the popular Aperture limited edition PABLO PICASSO AND FRANÇOISE GILOT, GOLFE-JUAN, FRANCE, 1948 by Robert Capa.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE PRESENT ON OCTOBER 23 TO PURCHASE PHOTOGRAPHS IN THE SIXTIETH ANNIVERSARY AUCTION OR PARTICIPATE IN THE RAFFLE.
BIDDING PROCEDURES
Works in the auction will be selected for the Live and Silent auctions by the Auctioneer and Auction Committee. The Live Auction will take place during the Gala on October 23 between 7:30 pm and 9:30 pm. The Silent Auction will take place on the same night, beginning at 6:00 pm and will continue until approximately 9:15 pm.
All guests attending the Aperture Foundation Sixtieth Anniversary Gala Dinner & Photography Auction will be able to bid in person for the Live and Silent Auctions. If you are unable to attend the Gala on Tuesday, October 23, and would like to bid on a lot included in either the live or silent auction, please download an absentee bid form and a volunteer auction professional will work with you to bid on your behalf during the Gala.
All successful bidders, including absentee bidders, will be notified by telephone on October 24 and October 25.
