Jurying the PhotoBook Awards

A behind-the-scenes look the 2012 PhotoBook Awards shortlist jurying.

Now that the thirty shortlisted titles for the Paris Photo–Aperture Foundation PhotoBook Awards have been decided, the publications await a final round of judging in Paris to determine the 2012 winners in the First PhotoBook and PhotoBook of the Year categories.

The final jury will be made up of Els Barents, director of the Huis Marseille Museum for Photography; Roxana Marcoci, curator of Photography at Museum of Modern Art, New York, and curator of the Paris Photo 2012 Platform; Edward Robinson, associate curator of Photography at Los Angeles County Museum of Art; and Thomas Seelig, curator of FotomuseumWinterthur. The PhotoBook of the Year and First PhotoBook prizes will be announced at the opening of Paris Photo on November 14, 2012.
