Aperture’s 2010 Benefit and Auction took place on November 1st, and we were proud to honor artist Richard Misrach; collector, philanthropist and former Aperture Board member Steven Ames; and New York-based gallerist Julie Saul for their extraordinary contributions to photography.
Thank you to our Event Co-chairs Christiane Fischer, from AXA Art Insurance Corporation, Sondra Gilman and Celso Gonzalez-Falla, and our Auction Chairs, Michael Hoeh and Cathy Kaplan, who made the event a success.
Preceding the Benefit on November 1st, an extraodinary line-up of artist studio visits, exhibition walkthroughs, and private collection tours were offered to Patron-level supporters of the Benefit.
